เมื่อไรใช้ have, has หรือ had ?

การใช้ have, has, had

เป็นกริยาแท้ของประโยค

have ใช้กับ I, we, you, they  และประธานที่เป็นพหูพจน์ ในประโยคที่เป็นปัจจุบัน (present)

has ใช้กับประธานเอกพจน์ ในประโยคที่เป็นปัจจุบัน (present)

had ใช้กับประธานได้ทั้งเอกพจน์และพหูพจน์ ในประโยคที่เป็นอดีต (past)

ตัวอย่าง

- I have a book.

- He has a son.

- She had a daughter.

ถ้าต้องการทำเป็นประโยคคำถามก็เอา have, has หรือ had มาไว้หน้าประโยค

- Have I a book?

- Has he a son?

- Had she a daughter?

และหากต้องการให้เป็นประโยคปฏิเสธ ก็เติม not เข้ามาข้างหลัง have, has หรือ had

- I have not a book.

- He has not a son.

- They had not pencils yesterday.
